Der Hamster ist Zeuge" (Spiegel 18/07) Sehr geehrter Herr Dworschak, als einer der von Ihnen interviewten Ärzte frage ich mich und hiermit Sie: Wie ist es Ihnen möglich, nach all dem, was Sie wissen, einen solchen Artikel zu schreiben? Oder wissen Sie wirklich so wenig? Oder dürfen Sie nichts wissen? Haben Sie selber als Journalist und Benutzer der Mobilfunktechnologie Angst? Warum sind Sie so ironisch und zynisch? Was ist Ihr Motiv, was Ihr Auftrag und von wem? Was ich Ihrem Artikel entnehme: --- Die Interessen der Mobilfunkindustrie sind für Sie unantastbar oder müssen unausgesprochen bleiben oder existieren gar nicht. --- eine unabhängige, seit über 7 Jahrzehnten etablierte Wissenschaft von reproduzierbaren schädigenden biologischen Wirkungen von Mobilfunkfrequenzen auf lebende Organismen existiert für Sie nicht. --- Die ärztliche Beobachtung von Menschen, die subjektiv und objektiv unter Mobilfunkbelastung erkranken und unter Entlastung gesunden, existiert für Sie nicht oder zählt nicht wirklich. --- Die Erfahrungen und Schilderungen von Betroffenen ist für Sie im zu belächelnden Reich des Glaubens angesiedelt. --- Die von Ihnen flapsig beschriebene Möglichkeit der Projektion von anderen Leiden auf den Mobilfunk und die Möglichkeit der Retraumatisierung von durch Mobilfunk Traumatisierten ist real und ein sehr sehr schwieriges menschliches und wissenschaftlich-ärztliches Problem. James Randerson Thursday January 18, 2007 exThe Guardian "Four years ago, I was fab, fit and in my 40s with a dynamic marketing and media business, exciting social life and active sporting schedule. My lifestyle was exciting and affluent." But devastating symptoms forced Sarah Dacre, now 50, to transform her life. She rarely leaves her house in north London, which she has screened from electromagnetic radiation with foil-lined wallpaper and Nasa-designed silvered cloth over the windows. She limits her computer use and makes telephone calls only on a landline. "If we go out for a quick meal we have to be out at seven and leave by eight because that's when everyone arrives with all their phones and their BlackBerrys," she adds. Why? Because she is convinced that the cause of her symptoms is the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) emitted by computers, mobile phone handsets, cordless telephones, phone masts and the rest. Bewildering symptoms Faced with a bewildering array of symptoms - including hair loss, severe headaches, memory loss, insomnia, dizziness, heart palpitations, tinnitus and digestive problems - three doctors failed to diagnose and treat her illness. After 18 months of debilitating illness she made her own diagnosis, with the help of the internet. She believes she has developed electrosensitivity (ES). Estimates of how many people suffer from it are scarce, but they range from 3.2% in California to 8% in Germany. In the UK around 4% of people claim to experience symptoms. "There's a lot of [ES sufferers] around," said Denis Henshaw, a physics professor who is head of the human radiation effects group at Bristol University. "They are otherwise sane and sensible people. They are not all nutcases." Yet the scientific case for ES is almost non-existent. "I think the picture is getting more conclusive that it is not EMFs that are causing symptoms," says Dr James Rubin, a researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry in London. He has reviewed 31 studies into ES; none showed ES as a statistically significant cause of symptoms. "That still leaves open questions about what is the problem in that case. These people are certainly ill, and experience real symptoms." The World Health Organisation backs up his view. A position statement drafted in December 2005 says: "There is no scientific basis to link ES symptoms to EMF exposure. Further, ES is not a medical diagnosis, nor is it clear that it represents a single medical problem." The clearest data come from provocation studies, in which people who claim that, say, mobile phones make them ill are placed in a room with a mobile phone that is either on or off, and report to an researcher how they feel. Neither the patient nor the researcher knows when the phone is on. This double-blind condition eliminates the possibility that a sufferer might feel ill because of a psychological association between their symptoms and the phone's status. The researchers later compare the timings of the worst headaches, for example, for any correspondence with the times when the patient was bathed in radiation from the mobile phone. The message from dozens of provocation studies is clear: EMFs, or "electrosmog" to the campaigners, do not cause the symptoms. Dr Rubin's group published one such study in the prestigious British Medical Journal (tinyurl.com/yekoxp with criticism, and responses, at tinyurl.com/ydun89). It found no difference in reported effects, phone off or on. Dr Rubin suggests patients are experiencing an extreme "nocebo" effect: expecting something to make you unwell prompts real symptoms. This diagnosis is not very satisfying for sufferers. Rod Read, who runs a campaign group called electrosensitivity.org, says: "I find it really obnoxious to suggest that all of my 300 people are deluded. We reassure them that what they are experiencing is real." He initially encouraged sufferers to help the scientists by participating in research, but now advises them not to. He said that several sufferers have dropped out of studies because they have been made worse. Rubin responds: "When [participants] do drop out, they are just as likely to drop out after a placebo as after a genuine . So even here there is no evidence for genuine sensitivity. "Also, even without the most sensitive of the sensitive, the people who do take part in these studies still report severe symptoms, even though they are subsequently shown to be not due to the EMFs. There is no real reason to think that the mechanism for the symptoms is psychological in these people, but biological in the ones who don't take part." Martin Röösli at the University of Berne in Switzerland said although drop-outs might affect the results, after more than 30 studies there should have been more positive data if something really is going on. "You always have these drop-outs. If these people dropped out only in the exposure condition and not in the sham condition this would be reported in the study," he said. In his own study, the drop-outs were evenly distributed between the real and false exposure conditions. But Magda Havas, of Trent Unviersity in Ontario, Canada, says that scientists are demanding impossibly high standards of studies. "The medical community and the scientific establishment is very conservative," she says. "People doing novel research that begins to question the status quo have a very difficult time getting it published. Initially when you are working in a totally novel field you can't get money for that sort of research." Others maintain that research on the chronic effects of EMFs - for example, research suggesting that living under power lines might double the risk of leukaemia in children (tinyurl.com/y9unnu) - means scientists should keep an open mind. "There's an enormous number of studies showing various forms of effects," says Olle Johansson at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. "It is of course of paramount importance to know exactly what is causing these problems." Whatever the cause, some scientists believe that some organisations set up to help sufferers may actually be making things worse by encouraging them to take elaborate measures to avoid EMF exposure. These include moving beds to line up with magnetic north or changing from a metal-sprung mattress to a foam one. Some groups sell or advocate expensive devices for detecting or shielding from EMFs. Rubin and his colleagues noted: "A danger exists that [these adjustments] will reinforce a patient's view of himself or herself as being sensitive to electromagnetic fields and put him or her at risk of developing symptoms association with other electrical stimuli." Benefit for patients Stacey Eltiti, who is part of a team doing a provocation study at Essex University, says: "I think in some ways [self-help groups] can be helpful and in some ways be harmful ... If all the time sufferers are being perhaps told false information or information that has been spun to make them more fearful and perhaps not showing them all the facts, that can put them into a worse state." One thing that everyone can agree on is that there needs to be more research into how to relieve the symptoms. Dr Rubin has reviewed nine studies into how to treat the condition. Four used cognitive behavioural therapy, two used computer screen filters, one looked at a shielding device and one studied acupuncture. He and his colleagues concluded that although the quality of all the studies was limited, only cognitive behavioural therapy showed a benefit for patients. They are cautious, though, because in none of the four studies did the researchers have a true control treatment. The apparent beneficial effects on patients may simply have been due to spending extended periods with a sympathetic therapist. For their part, the ES sufferers just want answers. "We are not unscientific or anti-scientific. We fully agree that there is not a scientific consensus," says Read. "We think the important question is how and why these people are suffering." |

Rebekah Zablud Azen, MLIS, resigned from her position at Quimby Memorial Library, Southwestern College, on December 16th, 2006 after administrators refused to discuss the issue. "I don't feel that I should have to jeopardize my health to secure or maintain employment, but allowing oneself to be irradiated is fast becoming a condition of employment for librarians. I just said no." B. Blake Levitt, a medical journalist who has been researching the biological affects of nonionizing radiation since the late '70's, and author of: Electromagnetic Fields: A Consumer's Guide to the Issues and How to Protect Ourselves, and Cell Towers: Wireless Convenience? or Environmental Hazard? wrote, "Once considered safe environments/professions, librarians and teachers are now in high risk professions." Azen is not the first librarian to express opposition or leave her position because of WiFi. In Santa Fe, four librarians recently signed a petition against WiFi in the public libraries, while several others objected to WiFi but were afraid to speak out. There is a librarian on the west coast that has been told not to discuss this issue by library administration and a report of two librarians who moved to rural towns and left the profession. The proliferation of wireless technologies is a growing and serious public health hazard, says Azen. "There is no evidence proving safety and an abundance of evidence demonstrating biological harm to living systems. Anyone who cares to look into the vast body of research that has been conducted over the past 80 years will find that the weight of evidence points to harm. The only sensible response is precaution." Current safety standards adopted by federal agencies like OSHA were developed by industry groups and are obsolete. EPA senior scientist and radiofrequency (RF) radiation expert, Norbert Hankin, wrote, "Both the NCRP (National Council on Radiation Protection) and ANSI/IEEE standards are thermally based and do not apply to chronic non-thermal exposure situations." In other words, if it doesn't "cook tissue," it is assumed to be safe. Research indicates however that low-power exposure (WiFi is "low power') has been shown to have numerous biological effects which can lead to serious health consequences, including neurological, cardiological and hormonal disorders, breakdown of the blood-brain barrier, DNA damage, cancers, diabetes and asthma. Children, to whom public libraries cater, have brains and nervous systems that are still developing; they are particularly vulnerable. Among the many scientists, organizations, government agencies and medical societies issuing bans or precautions, Lakehead University, in Canada, prohibits WiFi on its campus; the Public Health Department in Salzburg, Austria advises against WiFi in schools; the Schools Depart-ment in Frankfurt, Germany prohibits WiFi in schools; and the Austrian Medical Association warns against wireless technologies, including WiFi. The Benevento Resolution is the most recent and comprehensive pronouncement by 31 scientists internationally. The Benevento Resolution states, "Based on our review of the science, biological effects can occur from exposures to both Extremely Low Frequency Electromagnetic Fields (ELF EMF) and Radiofrequency fields (RF EMF). More evidence has accumulated that there are adverse health effects from occupational and public exposure to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields, or EMF at current exposure levels." The resolution also specifically warns against exposure to WiFi systems. Azen is also opposed to WiFi in libraries because it creates barriers to access for people with disabilities. People with certain types of heart disease, epilepsy, and others with electromagnetic sensitivity react with pain, confusion, and neurological or cardiac symptoms and are effectively denied access to libraries with WiFi. In California alone, a 1998 survey by the California Dept. of Health Services found that 120,000 Californians were unable to work due to electromagnetic radiation. Today, this number is undoubtedly much higher due to the rapid growth of wireless technologies. Librarians have always upheld the principle that access to libraries and information is inviolate, says Azen. "Today, this important library principle is eroding due the unquestioned acceptance of WiFi. Libraries should retain their autonomy as "wireless-free" zones. Instead of rushing to join the herd to go wireless, libraries should be building collections on this topic and educating the populace about the hazards associated with this technology." Azen says there are other issues as well with WiFi in libraries: libraries are relinquishing their unique role by morphing into internet cafés, the provision of special services to those who have the money to afford laptops is re-igniting the digital divide, WiFi service imposes a financial and personnel drain on libraries already struggling to build collections and maintain traditional library services, and unsecured networks compromise a library's commitment to protect user privacy and confidentiality. "Social security numbers, financial records, and yes, library records, are all vulnerable in unsecured wireless networks." Azen says that librarians need to assess technological trends wisely and ensure that the adoption of new technologies does not adversely impact public health, restrict access, undermine the treasured principles upon which we stand, or erode libraries. She says there are simple solutions to providing more computer access, such as installing wired hubs for patrons. WiFi is the proverbial elephant in the room. We must, as a profession, begin to open up a dialog on this critical issue that is affecting libraries and librarians everywhere, says Azen. |

The problem. Oxford County (as well as most populated areas of the world) has become extremely polluted with Electro Magnetic Radiation (EMR). In addition, Oxford County and most of North America has a very serious pollution problem known as Ground Current Electricity. If you were able to visualize the electrical pollution of our beautiful countryside, you would be shocked. You would see a virtual sewer of flowing electricity and piercing electromagnetic radiation. These pollutants can be detected only with specialized expensive instruments, such as gauss meters, radio frequency meters and oscilloscopes, yet the pollution surrounds us all the time. This is electrical energy, it travels around our bodies and some energy is absorbed internally. The absorbed energy causes various adverse effects to our health and well being. Many of you will know of farms that have been affected by ground current electricity or EMR. You may know of cows that produce only a fraction of their normal milk, produce deformed or dead calves and suffer other strange illnesses. You may know of pigs dying unexpectedly, horses that cannot breed and farm families suffering severe health effects. The harm that this electrical sewage is causing has been well researched by many independent scientists and researchers, and clear evidence shows that it causing serious health problems, diseases and death How Dangerous? Electrical pollution is likely to significantly eclipse the known harm from tobacco use, but it will not affect "just smokers". Human and animal life is being exposed to the same danger, through varying levels of radiation. Even Innuit natives of the Arctic have reported unpleasant symptoms when their community had a WiFi system installed recently. The very young and the very old are the most vulnerable. You may have noticed the increase in childhood leukemia, other cancers, autism, allergies and learning disabilities; these horrifying effects on children have all increased as electrical pollution has increased. The adult population has also seen great increases in the amount of breast cancer, prostate cancer, brain cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes, sleep disorders, headaches, etc. Electrical pollution has been linked to all these illnesses and many more. He cannot use his mobile phone any longer. Die Regierung Schröders hat Verordnungen zu Tetra schon 2005 verabschiedet, kurz nachdem er die Tetra-Studie in Auftrag gegeben hat, als hätte der Handelsvertreter schon damals die wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse gewußt.. Der Skandal um die Bewertung der Reflex-Studie durch die Bundesregierung siehe: Prof. Franz Adlkofer: Stellungnahme zur Darstellung der REFLEX-Studie durch die Regierung zeigt nur, daß Frau Dr. Kaul nicht den Mumm hat, sich gegen das Diktat der politischen Zwänge zu stellen. Es ist menschlich, denn jede(r) der(die) warnenden Ergebnisse liefern würde, entweder würde aus dem Amt fliegen oder würde zum Matschgehirn erklärt. Es gibt eine Hexenjagd gegen Menschen, die korrekten Ergebnisse in der Forschung über EMF-Auswirkungen liefern. Jede negative Studie, ohne Beteiligung und ohne Kontrolle von Mobilfunkgegner ist deswegen automatisch, als unsaubere, nicht transparente, politische Propaganda- Studie anzusehen und abzulehnen, siehe Beweise z.B.: Eine Behörde im Spagat zwischen Wissenschaft und Politik oder Die Tcharnobyl Katastrophe und die wissenschaftliche Redlichkeit Sehr spannend ist für mich die Versuchsanordnung: Frau Kaul hat die elektrische Hautleitfähigkeit mit zwei Elektroden, die auf der linken Handfläche appliziert waren, aufgezeichnet. Für mich sieht das nach einer Variante des Lügendetektors aus. Nur beim Lügendetektor gilt gerade, daß kleine oder keine Veränderungen die Wahrheit der Aussage des Probanten beweisen. Nach Ihrer Versuchsanordnung müßten Probanten lügen um größere Veränderungen zu bestimmen.. Das heißt, aus Ihrer Zusammenfassung Frau Dr. Kaul, ergibt sich der Beweis, daß die Probanten in Ihrer Studie ehrlich berichteten und reagierten. Darum konnten Sie keine entscheidenden Veränderungen der elektrischen Hautleitfähigkeit auf Ihren Meßgeräten aufzeichnen. Die Psyche ist nun mal beim Lügendetektor entscheidend .. Und Menschen sind nicht Handys und reagieren nicht so, wie die seelenlose Geräte. Also Frau Dr. Kaul die Versuchsanordnung war für die Katz oder absichtlich für die Katz. Was nun? Keine wissenschaftliche Studie, die sich gegen Menschen richtet, sollte ohne Kontrolle von Mobilfunkgegner stattfinden! Ohne unsere Beteiligung und wir sind viele, ist solche Studie als wertlose, schmutzige Propaganda, Steuergelderverschwendung zu bezeichnen. Das EU-Prinzip der Transparenz muß auch auf dem Forschungsgebiet der Auswirkungen der EMF auf Menschen umgesetzt werden. Als Entdecker (15.03.2005 im Internet veröffentlicht) der These über falsche Zusammenfassungen der Studien auf dem Gebiet der EMF-Wirkungen auf Menschen: unehrliche Wissenschaftler- die Hofnarren, schreiben nicht adäquate zu Ergebnissen in den vollen Studien, Gefälligkeitsinhalte in Abstracts ihrer Studien, siehe z.B. im Abstract der dänischen Interphone Studie "oder Szmigielski-Studie ("Carcinogenic potency of microwave radiation" published European Journal of Oncology, 2001) fordere ich Sie Frau Dr. Kaul auf, Ihre ganze Studie mir zukommen lassen. Meine Prophezeiung: Sie werden sehen, etliche Probanten können sich im Fazit Ihrer Studie nicht wiederfinden aber in der vollen Studie schon.. Bin ich doch ein Wahrsager- nicht wahr? Trotzdem leiden einige Personen unter einer Vielzahl von Beschwerden, die sie auf den Einfluss elektromagnetischer Felder zurück führen und dies mit einer zu hohen Belastung durch sogenannten "Elektrosmog" begründen. Wenn eine "Elektrosensibilität" biologisch begründet ist, dann müsste der Organismus auf eine definierte Feldprovokation durch ein elektromagnetisches Feld auch physiologisch eine Antwortreaktion ausbilden können. Herauszufinden, welche Bedingungen für eine solche Überempfindlichkeit sprechen könnten, war das Ziel der an der BAuA durchgeführten, experimentellen Studie. Sowohl Personen, die eine gesundheitliche Beeinträchtigung durch eine "Elektrosensibilität" angaben, als auch unbelastete Personen (Kontrollgruppe) wurden in einem Zeitraum von einer Stunde 3 x 10 Minuten lang einer definierten Feldexposition ausgesetzt, wobei sie nicht wussten, wann dieses Feld und für wie lange eingeschaltet war. In der übrigen Zeit blieb im Labor die Umgebung feldneutral. Für eine Gruppe "elektrosensibler" Personen war die Feldexposition durch ein magnetisches 50-Hertz-Feld mit der Stärke von 10 Mikro-Tesla (1/10 des Grenzwertes für die Allgemeinbevölkerung) gegeben, für die andere Gruppe "elektrosensibler" Personen wurde ein gepulstes GSM-Funksignal eingesetzt, das von einem Mobiltelefon mit maximaler Sendeleistung (2 Watt) abgegeben wurde, das neben dem Kopf des Probanden in 30 cm Entfernung positioniert war. Die physiologische Reaktion wurde an Hand der elektrodermalen Aktivität der Haut (EDA) ermittelt. Dazu wurde über die gesamte Zeit hinweg die elektrische Hautleitfähigkeit mit zwei Elektroden, die auf der linken Handfläche appliziert waren, aufgezeichnet. Zusätzlich wurde gefragt, ob die Person ein Feld wahrgenommen habe. Als Kovariable wurden Merkmale der Wahrnehmung getestet sowie mittels Fragebögen Merkmale zum Verhalten in allgemeinen und leistungsbezogenen Situationen mit erfasst. Ziel der Studie war es zu überprüfen, ob sich durch die Änderung einer Feldimmission das Niveau der elektrischen Hautleitfähigkeit beeinflussen lassen würde. Es interessierte weiterhin, ob sich "elektrosensible" Personen hinsichtlich ihrer Wahrnehmungsfähigkeit oder hinsichtlich ihrer dispositionellen (anlagebedingten) Merkmale von nicht betroffenen Personen unterscheiden würden, woraus sich vielleicht ein Hinweis auf die Ausbildung einer "Elektrosensibilität" ergeben könnte. Im Ergebnis der Untersuchungen konnte bei keiner einzigen Person eine feldabhängige Änderung ihrer elektrischen Hautleitfähigkeit gefunden werden. Das mittlere Niveau des elektrischen Hautleitwertes reagierte nicht auf die eingesetzte Feldexposition und erwies sich auch über eine längere Zeitdauer hinweg dafür unempfindlich. Weder bei den Kontrollpersonen noch bei den von einer "Elektrosensibilität" betroffenen Personen konnte zwischen ihrer Vermutung, das Feld sei ein- oder ausgeschalten gewesen, und der real gegebenen Expositionsbedingung eine überzufällig hohe Übereinstimmung wiederholt gefunden werden. Ein Hinweis auf eine erhöhte Sensitivität bei den "elektrosensiblen" Personen ließ sich daher nicht finden, obwohl diese Personen sehr viel häufiger angaben, dass sie ein Feld wahrnehmen würden. Fazit: Auf Grund der vorliegenden Ergebnisse an 48 "elektrosensiblen" Personen und -im Vergleich dazu -an 96 Kontrollpersonen lässt sich das Phänomen der "elektromagnetischen Hypersensibilität" nicht auf eine nachweisbare, biologisch begründete Empfindlichkeit gegenüber alltagsüblichen elektromagnetischen Feldern mit geringer Intensität zurückführen. Versuchsleiterin war Frau Dr. Kaul und versprach, mir die gesamten Ergebnisse zuzuschicken. Einen großen Teil dieser Ergebnisse habe ich erhalten, es fehlt aber noch ein Teil, den aber habe ich bis heute nicht erhalten. Der Versuch fand in einer entspannten freundlichen Atmosphäre statt. Es gingen diverse Tests dem Experiment mit der HF-Befeldung voran. Über Einzelheiten des Versuchsablaufs darf ich aus rechtlichen Gründen keine Aussagen machen. Die Befeldung in einem faraday’schen Raum, in dem Reflektionen absolut ausgeschlossen sind, mit GSM 900 MHz-Befeldung, lösten bei mir die allerheftigsten Symptome aus, und das bei nur etwa 1/7 der zugelassenen Grenzwerte! Ich erkannte alle Symptome, die ich häufig am Arbeitsplatz erlebte, sofort wieder und war nun sicher, dass der Zusammenhang eindeutig und klar bewiesen wäre. Selbst erschrocken (ihr Entsetzen in ihrem Gesichtsausdruck ist mir noch in Erinnerung) über diese starken Reaktionen schrieb mir dann aber unerwarteter Weise Frau Dr. Kaul u.a. "Für mich stellt sich die hohe Erregung am Beginn des Experiments eher als eine Belastung durch die Unkalkulierbarkeit des Geschehens, dass Sie nicht beeinflussen, hinterschauen oder kontrollieren konnten, dar. ……. ……. Sie können also eine ursächliche Bezogenheit Ihrer Beschwerden auf die Felder des Mobilfunks beruhigt ausschließen." Weiter schrieb sie mir, dass dieser "Anfall", wie sie es ja nun selbst auch bezeichnete, evtl. auf einer Angstreaktion oder einer Aversion gegen den Versuch selbst beruhte. Das aber stimmt in keiner Weise, denn ich bin ganz unvoreingenommen und entspannt an die Sache herangegangen, zumal ich mir nicht all zu viel vom Experiment mit nur einem Handy versprach. Ich bin selbst auch nicht ängstlich. Wenn ich eine Aversion gegen den Versuch gehabt hätte, so hätte ich diesen Versuch jederzeit abbrechen können! Auf diverse Gespräche und Diskussionen mit Frau Dr. Kaul sagte sie mir dann schließlich in etwa: Wenn ich diese lächerlichen Feldstärken nicht aushalte, müsse ich eben auswandern ! Im Übrigen finde ich all ihre Erklärungen, von denen sie nicht einen Millimeter abweicht, in der Telekom-Broschüre u.a. unter "Wirkungsschwellen" wieder. Eine Chance, diesen Versuch wiederholen zu dürfen, um die Wirkung der HF-Befeldung zu beweisen, wurde mir verwehrt oder ich müsse dieses aus eigener Tasche zahlen. Tatsache ist, dass ich bei einer NF-Befeldung gar nichts spürte, die 1/7-starke HF-Befeldung zu stark für mich ist, ich diesen Versuch mit einiger Mühe durchhielt (wie eine widerliche Folter), bei der 2. Exposition sogar neben den vorangegangenen Symptomen noch Schlucklähmungen hinzu kamen. Es ging gar nicht ! Am nächsten Tag sahen meine Beine furchtbar aus, dick, lila-genetzt, irgendwie total anders; die Auswirkungen spürte ich noch am darauf folgenden Arbeitstag bzw. bin ich evtl. stark sensibilisiert worden!

Die Menschen erholen sich, wenn sie unbelastete Orte aufsuchen können. Von schon früher besuchten Standorten erreichen uns täglich verzweifelte Anrufe. An immer mehr Orten wird von der Bevölkerung auch eine lokal umschriebene Häufung von Tumorerkrankungen festgestellt; mehrfach auch innerhalb von Familien. In Icking z.B. sind eine Mutter und ihre 2 Töchter an Tumoren erkrankt (etliche Anwohner haben Schlafstörungen, Gelenkbeschwerden, Konzentrationsstörungen u.a.; der Bürgermeister ist schwer erkrankt). In Burgheim finden sich in fast jedem Haus einer stark belasteten Strasse Tumorpatienten. In einem Ortsteil (ca. 50 Einwohner) von Oberachdorf gibt es mittlerweile 18 Tumorfälle. Viele Erkrankte sind bereits verstorben. Die Häufung ist seit dem Jahr 2000 öffentlich bekannt. Aus der Richtung von Wörth strahlt eine Vielzahl von Funkanlagen in den Ortsteil. Seit 1992 sind die Mobilfunksender auf dem Baywa-Gebäude in Betrieb. Der für 2001 angestrebte Abbau der Sender wurde nicht durchgesetzt. Es ist Ihre gesetzliche Pflicht die gemeldeten Gesundheitsschäden (siehe unser Schreiben vom 7.2.2006 mit Anschriften von erkrankten Anwohnern) vor Ort in Zusammenarbeit mit den Gesundheitsämtern zu untersuchen. Dazu ist die Entfernung der Noxe, also die Abschaltung des jeweiligen Senders, das probate Mittel. Weiteres Abwarten verbietet sich angesichts der Schwere der Erkrankungen. Nach einem Jahr muss dann ein Zwischenbericht abgegeben werden - und wenn dieser den Erwartungen der Auftraggeber nicht entspricht, ist das Geld weg. Hier ist einem das Hemd näher als die Wahrheit. | Ruf nach Umkehr und Gerechtigkeit 20.2.06 Vermutlich geht es nicht nur mir so, dass mich die Todesnachricht sehr betroffen macht. Herr Obermann hatte mich vor ca. 2 Jahren mal angerufen und wir hatten ein längeres Gespräch geführt; d. h. ich kenne ihn nur vom Telefon. Als Studienrat u. a. für das Fach Physik stand er damals noch im aktiven Schuldienst. D. h., dass er in einem Alter verstorben sein muss, in dem es eigentlich zu früh dafür ist. Um die Gefahren des Mobilfunks zu wissen und darüber aufzuklären hat ihn offenbar nicht davor verschont, dass diese Technologie seine Gesundheit genauso untergraben hat wie die all der vielen Menschen, deren signifikanten Sterbefälle sich in den letzten Jahren häufen und zur historischen Anklage der Schädiger auftürmen. Thema: Wahnsinn Mobilfunk, Betroffene berichten. Neben einer Auswertung der Melatoninstudie des Münchner Umweltmediziners Dr. Scheiner melden sich hier erstmals Betroffene zu Wort, die in der Nähe eines Mobilfunkmastens wohnen oder arbeiten mussten und medizinisch nachprüfbare, massive Gesundheitsprobleme entwickelten. Information und Aufruf In der Ausgabe Nr. 140 (Januar/Februar 2006) und Nr. 141 (März/April 2006) der Wissenschaftszeitschrift Raum&Zeit erscheint ein Artikel von Karl Trischberger, Dipl. Betriebswirt und Mobilfunkopfer. Titel: "Wahnsinn Mobilfunk, Betroffene berichten". Darin schildert er seinen Fall und interviewt sieben weitere Personen die vom Mobilfunk schwerstens geschädigt wurden. Die meisten Fälle wurden dabei hinreichend medizinisch dokumentiert, so dass an der Ursache der Erkrankung wenig Zweifel besteht! Es handelt sich dabei um: Franz Fellner, 23 Jahre, Lenggries, Abbruch des Studiums an der TU nach zwei Semestern, wegen neurologischen Ausfallserscheinungen. Sehr sportlich, klettert bis zum 10. Paul Günther, 21 Jahre, München, drei Wochen nach Bezug einer Wohnung unter einem Mobilfunkmasten in München massivste neurologische Probleme. Konnte dann das Studium im Herbst 2003 nicht antreten. Seither therapeutische Versuche zur Wiederherstellung der Gesundheit. Arbeitet zur Zeit im Keller einer Firma strahlungsfrei als Systemadministrator. Technikfreak. Mit 16 Jahren eine kleine Firma als IT-Dienstleister gegründet. Will im Jahr 2006 Studium der Wirtschaftsinformatik mit Strahlenschutzanzug beginnen und hat eine umfangreiche Korrespondenz mit der Gleichstellungsbeauftragten der TU wegen seiner Elektrosensibilität begonnen. Ulrich Weiner, 28 Jahre, Augsburg absolvierte Lehre als Kommunikationselektroniker. Gründete 1993 seine eigene Firma, die zwischenzeitlich bis zu 20 Mitarbeiter beschäftigte. Beruflich bedingt musste er viel mit dem Handy telefonieren. 2001 mehrere Zusammenbrüche. U.a. Aufenthalt im Krankenhaus, nach Zusammenbruch am Flughafen Frankfurt. Musste sämtliche Mitarbeiter krankheitsbedingt entlassen. Lebt in Funklöchern, die er mit dem Wohnwagen aufsucht und will ein Erholungszentrum für Elektrosensible in einem strahlungsarmen Gebiet in Sachsen schaffen. Suzanne S., 46 Jahre, Halblech, tätig beim Deutschen Wetterdienst. 1996 Umzug von Hamburg zum neuen Arbeitsplatz am Hohenpeißenberg 100 Meter vom Sendeturm entfernt. Nach drei Monaten kamen die ersten gesundheitlichen Probleme. Inzwischen extrem elektrosensibel, kann sie nur noch mit Schutzanzug in die Öffentlichkeit. Zur Zeit kämpft sie vor dem Sozialgericht in Augsburg um ihren Arbeitsplatz. Veronika S. 50 Jahre Baden-Baden arbeitete 24 Jahre lang gesund und beschwerdefrei in der gleichen Firma. 2001 zog die Firma in ein neues Gebäude mit Mobilfunkmasten und DECT- Telefonen um. Zur Zeit auf der Suche nach einem neuen Arbeitsplatz. Mehrere Umzüge auf der Flucht vor Mobilfunksendeanlagen in der Nähe der Wohnung. Nur noch im Wald frei von Schmerzen. Hat einen Schutzbaldachin zum Schlafen. Krankheit von BFA nicht anerkannt. Ärger mit dem Arbeitsamt, da Frau S. Wegen eingebildeter Schmerzen den Arbeitsplatz aufgegeben hat. Monika Frielinghaus 54 Jahre, 91077 Neunkirchen, erste Symptome Herbst 2003 nach sechs Monaten Arbeit unter Mobilfunkmasten. Strahlenbelastung am Arbeitsplatz: 5000 Mikrowatt pro m2. Melatonin und Serotoninwerte stark erniedrigt. Zur Zeit arbeitsunfähig. An Parkinson erkrankt. Viele Allergien. Stephan Rau, 40 Jahre, Stahlbetonbauer, Wiesbaden hatte 2001 bedingt durch einen Verkehrsunfall eine Schädelfraktur, die mit einer Metallplatte versorgt wurde. Diese wirkt wie eine Empfangsantenne für Hochfrequenz. Im Jahr 2004 ging fünfzehn Meter gegenüber seiner Dachwohnung eine UMTS Anlage der Firma T-Mobile in Betrieb. Gesundheitliche Störungen massivster Art stellten sich sehr bald ein. Messungen ergaben eine starke Beeinträchtigung der Herz- und Gehirnaktivitäten. Trotz Auszug aus der Wohnung blieb eine hochgradige Elektrosensibilität. Karl Trischberger, 45, Lenggries, Dipl. Betriebswirt seit 1996 Arbeitsplatz unter Mobilfunkmasten (im Frachtpostzentrum Aschheim bei München). Belastung 4 nW/cm2 Ab 2000 massivste Schlafstörungen und Infektanfälligkeit. Trotz der Vorlage mehrerer Atteste war der Arbeitgeber nicht bereit einer Versetzung zuzustimmen. 2003 aufgrund zunehmender gesundheitlicher Schwierigkeiten frühpensioniert. Diesen Fällen voran geht eine Darstellung der Pilot-Studie des Umweltmediziners Dr. Scheiner, München. Er hat in circa 100 Fällen die Melatoninwerte von Betroffenen vor und nach Inbetriebnahme einer Mobilfunkanlage gemessen. Die Reduktion der Werte war dabei teilweise dramatisch! Dieses Phänomen könnte natürlich beliebig oft mit relativ einfachen Mitteln reproduziert werden! Die Behauptung von Mobilfunkbetreibern und Politikern, die Mobilfunkbestrahlung ließe sich nicht beweisen, ist somit eine bewusste Irreführung der Öffentlichkeit. Mit der Artikelserie in Raum&Zeit ist der Aufruf an Betroffene verbunden sich bei ähnlicher oder gleicher Kasuistik und Symptomatik zu melden. Es sollen möglichst viele Fälle von beglaubigter Mobilfunksensibilität dokumentiert werden. Nach wie vor wird von gewisser Seite behauptet, dass von der Problematik der Esmog-Sensibilität nur eine verschwindende Minderheit betroffen sei. Der Autor des Artikel ist dagegen der Auffassung, dass die geschilderten Fälle nur die Spitze des sprichwörtlichen Eisberges darstellen. | Biophysicist who cured himself is now helping others to heal Copyright· 2002 by Teresa Tsalaky David Walker wanted to live long enough to see his children graduate from high school. He asked his oncologist if he'd make it that long. The doctor hung his head and said Walker had no more than three to five years before the colon cancer would take his life. Nearly a decade later, Walker is cancer free. Thanks to his training as a biophysicist, he was able to decipher a biochemical riddle that enabled him to cure himself. He created a treatment protocol that consists of herbs, enzymes, phytonutrients, detoxification and a bio-resonance therapy that recharges depleted energy in cells. He then shared his knowledge, helping hundreds of other cancer patients eliminate the disease. In 2001, the Federal Trade Commission and Washington State attorney general sued to stop him. A government investigator reviewed Walker's records and reported that 14 percent of the people using his protocol had died. The report did not include the mortality rate over the same period of time for cancer patients who undergo the approved cancer therapies: radiation and chemotherapy. That rate is 96 percent. When the court case ended in 2002, Walker had become one of thousands of individuals and companies whose effective, alternative treatments have been stifled. THE TREATMENT THAT DIDN'T WORK Walker's story begins on March 6, 1994 ó the day he had surgery for a ruptured appendix. Surgeons discovered advanced cancer and removed a colon tumor larger than a grapefruit. The doctor gave Walker little hope of living beyond five years and prescribed chemotherapy. Friends and relatives began sending him alternative health products and books about cancer. They suggested he use various non-allopathic treatments. But Walker would do nothing of the sort. "I entered in this treatment of surgery and chemotherapy with only one thing in mind: to follow doctor's orders and dedicate myself to this schedule and treatment," he said. "My thoughts were that medicine today is the best ever, and if I?m going to beat this, I'm doing all traditional approaches." Then he discovered the side effects of "traditional" approaches. The surgery left him unable to fully use his left leg. Repairing the damage required six months of physical therapy. The chemo was worse. It caused open sores in his mouth, and his skin began deteriorating. When he made a fist, then opened his hand, it bled from every crack. He could pull the skin off his hands in layers. "After seven months of chemotherapy, my doctor sent me home, saying the side effects are too severe and that maybe we can try again in three months," Walker recalled. "I never returned. During that three months of detoxing from the chemo, I knew I would rather die sooner with dignity and quality of life than go through the chemical poisoning again." That's when he empowered himself. If the experts didn't have the tools to cure him, he would try to find those tools himself. "When I sat and thought about it, I tried to understand what was killing me," he said. He searched the Internet and watched University of Washington Medical School videos. He researched nutrients, blood oxygen, cellular energy and cellular communication. With a doctoral degree in biophysics, with minors in microbiology and biochemistry, he had the knowledge to understand the research reports and scientific data. He said he discovered nothing new. He simply put what is already known to use to reverse the process that leads to cancer. "I just found some keys and unlocked some doors of knowledge," he said. REPLACING THE CELL CYCLE'S MISSING DOMINOS In layman's terms, here's the information that Walker used to come up with the cancer treatment protocol that saved his life: Every day, billions of cells in your body are damaged and discarded, and billions more new, healthy cells take their place in an endless cycle of cell regeneration. The new ones are created by the cells subdividing. Cells contain energy measured in millivolts. A healthy cell contains between 70 and 90 millivolts of energy. When a free radical attaches to a cell, its energy drops to 15 millivolts. (Free radicals punch holes in cell membranes and damage DNA and enzyme systems. Some free radicals are created when the immune system does its battles; others come from pollutants in our food, water and air.) The cell's DNA and RNA orchestrate the process of cell regeneration. The DNA in each cell has something called a telemid strand, which becomes dormant when a cell loses energy. As a result, the cell mutates. The P53 gene, which is in charge of destroying mutated cells, needs more than 15 milli-volts to do its job. So when the cell's energy drops, damaged and mutated cells are no longer destroyed. But the MYG gene ó the one in charge of cell subdivision ó doesn't need much energy to do its job. Even at 15 millivolts or less, it keeps dividing the cells ó even the mutated ones that were supposed to be destroyed. This, Walker says, is how cancer gets started and mutates. And this is why Walker's protocol includes re-energizing the cells. Walker also learned in his research that cancer cells have high toxin counts, and that people with cancer have low blood oxygen levels and their immune systems? natural killer cells have been depleted. He learned that certain antigens (substances that cause the formation of an antibody or elicit a cellular response) exist in high counts in cancer cells, and certain enzymes can keep these antigens at bay. When these enzymes are depleted, cellular communication fails. All of this contributes to the mutated cells growing out of control. And that's called malignancy. Walker compares the cycle of cell regeneration to a set of dominos: "If you took 40 dominos and stood them up in a circle, a free radical attachment represents a removed domino. If the P53 gene can't fire, remove another domino. Take out a couple more failed-communication dominos, and your cell won't be regenerated as a healthy cell, only a mutated mass." He said he has identified six parts of the cell-regeneration cycle that have failed in all cases of cancer, as well as in more than 200 other diseases and conditions. The trick to stopping cancer, therefore, is to replace the six dominos so that the cells can operate properly, allowing the body to heal itself. And so Walker set out to find the products that would replace the missing dominos. He found the products, used them faithfully, and he felt better and better. After two years, he worked up the courage to go back to his doctor. The test results came back clear: Walker had no cancer in his body. THE TREATMENT PROTOCOL Walker's treatment protocol includes numerous possible supplements and procedures, ranging from colostrums to colonics, but the following seven are the basic elements that Walker recommends for everyone with cancer. 1.. An herbal supplement called Bio-X that contains bloodroot, galangal, yellow dock, licorice root, zinc chloride, protoplasm and water treated with 12 enzymes. 2.. Sodium micelle - an enzyme that increases oxygen levels in the blood. 3.. Glycoproteins and phytonutrients: Of the nine glycoproteins essential for the cell to reproduce itself, only one is made by the body, so food must provide the rest. Phytonutrients are nutrients harvested from mature plants. 4.. Diet modification: Walker recommends eliminating red meat, margarine and white processed sugar and flour. 5.. Detoxification: Many methods are available for removing toxins from the body. 6.. Inholtra: This over-the-counter pain remedy is recommended to eliminate the need for codeine or morphine. 7.. Bio-resonance therapy: You'll recall that free-radical damage drops the cell?s charge to 15 millivolts and leads to mutated cells dividing and multiplying. Several machines have been developed that bring that charge back up to a healthy range through resonance. These multi-wave oscillators put out a full-spectrum field of energy. Each cell and system of the body picks out its optimal frequency and begins oscillating at that rate. It's similar to plucking a string of a violin and thereby producing the same note in a nearby violin. SUED FOR HELPING OTHERS HEAL A few people heard about Walker's success eliminating his terminal cancer and called asking about his protocol. He gave them the names of companies that sell the products he used. If they couldn't afford the products, Walker paid for them. He had survived a cancer death sentence, and he wanted to help others do the same. Word of mouth spread, and soon he had hundreds of people calling for advice. He put up a Web site and began keeping records of the people who came to him for help. The success stories began accumulating, and he decided it was time to set up clinical trials. He inquired whether the National Institutes of Health would be interested in setting up a study and also approached several clinics. "I got laughed at, kicked out of clinics, and most medical doctors refused to listen," Walker recalled. Then a patient with breast cancer told her physician she had used Walker's regimen to eliminate her cancer. "The doctor claimed to have lost $350,000, because the breast cancer went away," said Walker, who believes the doctor called the Federal Trade Commission, which, under pressure from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, sued him. Then the FTC, which regulates e-commerce, decided that Walker, through his Web site, was practicing medicine without a license. The Washington State Attorney General's Office filed 240 counts against him. The state's health department filed an Investigation for Unlicensed Practice of Medicine, and the FDA accused Walker of selling illegal, over-the-counter drugs. By then, he had helped hundreds of people, had records on about 500 on them, and had gathered about 2,500 testimonials about the products he recommended. Most of the people he helped ó 86 percent ó had survived their cancers, according to the government's investigation of his case. The FTC decided it was Walker's constitutional right to review cancer patients' medical records and offer treatment advice, as long as he didn't sell anything. But the attorney general's office pressed on with support from the FDA, prevailing on two counts. Even though Walker won the other 238 counts, the judgment against him for the two counts was $860,000. He lost his house and everything he owned. In spite of the loss, it was worth it, Walker said. "Material things are nothing anymore ó that's one lesson you learn when facing the end. To me, they are just a convenience now. What it was worth is I got to see all three of my kids graduate ó something my oncologist said could not happen." After the court case ended, Walker was offered several jobs with titles such as head of product development, director of complementary and alternative medicine and university professor. But he had to consider continuing his work helping people with cancer. During the previous 10 years, he had survived advanced cancer, helped hundreds of other people do the same, and experienced government suppression of alternative treatments. And, while visiting hospitals, he had seen the devastation that allopathic cancer treatments cause. "I visited the cancer wards or just sat in the waiting room, watching people waiting their turn for poison injections, irradiation and most of all, hope. Many times, I left or had to leave because of the emotional impact, memories, and knowing each person I saw was putting their trust in the slaughtering process," Walker said. He concluded that oncologists ó through no fault of their own ó "are nothing more than legally licensed executioners." So he made a list of all the pros and cons of continuing his work with cancer patients. One side of the list had two entries: "government antagonist" and "self-destruction." If he continued, he would be antagonizing the government that wanted to stop him, and it could destroy him. The other side of the list had 500,002 entries, including the 500,000 new cancer patients every year. The other two entries were "my contributions to mankind" and "family ó the future of my children and grandchildren." "Needless to say, it was not a difficult decision," Walker said. So he left Washington State and moved to Mexico, where he's again helping people who want an alternative treatment for cancer. People can either visit him in Mexico, or simply send their medical records to him. Walker will evaluate the records and design a treatment protocol. Walker's consulting fee is $4,480, which is waived if the person decides not to use the program outlined. Walker provides a list of products and where they can be purchased and leaves it up to the client to buy them. He said a five-month supply for an average program could cost from $2,500 to $4,000. That's about one-thirtieth of what Walker spent for his chemotherapy and the pills to counter the side effects. "My work will go on." Walker said. | Biophysicist fined $860,000 for healing cancer patients (From Bill Henderson's newsletter) People often ask me if I am concerned that I might be persecuted for my efforts to steer people away from conventional cancer "therapy." Well, I'll be 74 in a few days (January 18th) and not much scares me anymore. If you want to get angry, however, here's another good reason. Mike Vrentas, a wonderful researcher and source of lots of information for me, sent me this article, which was first published in 2002. The gentleman described in the article had done the research (similar to mine) to find the true cause of cancer and how to reverse it. He developed a regimen similar to mine. He healed himself and then advised other cancer patients and helped them heal. He sold no products. He just gave advice about what he had done. Since he is a biophysicist and had healed himself (after undergoing chemo, etc. which made him very sick and didn't help at all), he had lots of credibility. He kept records. 86% of the hundreds of people he helped recovered from their cancer. When one of the ladies he had healed of breast cancer told her oncologist about it, the doctor, incensed at his loss of a $350,000 patient, reported the biophysicist to the FTC. With help from the FDA, they managed to convict him on 2 of the 240 counts brought against him for "practicing medicine without a license." The fine: $860,000. Try and engage with the media and make your campaign as loud as you can, target the land owner with letters of objection and serve legal notice holding the land owner and operator responsible for any devaluation of your homes or possible future damages to your health. The Local Authority did not deal with the application in due time and it has now been appealed by NTL to the Planning Inspectorate in Cardiff. The issue is being dealt with by the written procedure. We have formed an 'Action Group' and many villagers have written to the Inspector making our views known about this mast and its Tetra communications system. We have until 3rd January 2006 to submit correspondence and wonder if there is anything you or other concern groups could provide to assist our cause? We would, of course, be most interested in joining with other groups to bring pressure to bear on whoever to halt the tide of masts in general and the Tetra technology in particular. Anfang September 2005 wurde ich von Ihrer Mitarbeiterin, Frau Sabine Sikor, telefonisch eingeladen, bei einer Barbara Karlich - Show-Aufzeichnung am 28.9.2005 als Gast aktiv teilzunehmen. Dabei wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass verschiedene, in der Öffentlichkeit nicht so bekannte Krankheiten, vorgestellt und ernsthaft diskutiert werden sollten, u.a. Elektro- und Mobilfunkstrahlensensibilität. Wie die Sendung betitelt werden würde, konnte oder wollte mir Frau Sikor nicht sagen. In zwei Telefongesprächen mit Frau Sikor habe ich mit aller Deutlichkeit darauf bestanden, dass ich nur teilnehme, wenn kein Kommentar psychologischer Art zu meinem Thema stattfindet. Dies wurde mir von Frau Sikor auf jeden Fall garantiert. Sie sagte, man sei sehr interessiert, das Thema Elektrosmogerkrankung seriös zu behandeln. Diese Vereinbarung wurde jedoch nicht eingehalten. Bei meinem Ankunftsgespräch am 28.9.2005 wurde mir auf meine Frage der Titel der Sendung mitgeteilt: "Hypochonder". Ich gab meiner Entrüstung darüber Ausdruck und dass ich keineswegs gekommen wäre, wenn mir dies bei meinem mehrmaligen telefonischen Vorgesprächen gesagt worden wäre. Für mich war die Sendung keine freie offene Diskussion, sondern hatte offensichtlich das Ziel, das Krankheitsbild von den Ursachen abzukoppeln und den Grund primär in der Psyche des Menschen zusuchen. Der Kommentar von Herrn Dipl. Psychologen Schmutzer war so ausgerichtet, dass es den Anschein haben sollte, meine Elektrosensibilität sei psychischer Natur und die Tatsache der Außeneinwirkung durch Mobilfunkstrahlung sei bedeutungslos. Diese Vorgangsweise finde ich bedauerlich und befremdend, hatte ich Ihnen doch vorweg schriftliche Informationen zukommen lassen, die keinen Zweifel an der Tragik der Elektrosensibilität lässt. Meine Tätigkeit als Gründerin und Sprecherin der Selbsthilfegruppe "Elektrosmog Salzburg" und mein Bemühen, die bereits sehr verbreitete Problematik mit Öffentlichkeitsarbeit ernsthaft zu behandeln, wird dadurch diskreditiert. Wir landen Sie sehr herzlich ein, mit uns gemeinsam, die Aufzeichnung anzusehen, damit Sie sich persönlich davon überzeugen können. Sie persönlich wirken in der Sendung und dem damit verbundenen Thema sehr kompetent, glaubwürdig und sympathisch, auch wurde mehrmals erwähnt, dass explizit ihre Geschichte nichts mit Hypochondrie und dem damit verbundenen Krankheitsbild (Facharzt Dr. Martin Aigner) zu tun hat. Im Gegenteil wurde oftmals unterstrichen, dass es Elektrosmogerkrankung gibt und diese auch ernst zunehmen ist. Nur Sie und ihr behandelnder Arzt Dr. Gerd Oberfeld, können die Geschichte beurteilen, nichts anderes wurde in der Sendung vermittelt." Der Einladung nach Wien zu fahren und mir das Band anzusehen bin ich nicht gefolgt. Ich hätte ohnehin nichts mehr ändern können. Obwohl mir der "Unterhaltungscharakter" dieser Talk-Show bekannt ist, habe ich nach einiger Überlegung doch die Einladung als Studiogast aus folgenden Beweggründen angenommen: 1. Die Bevölkerung aus der Sicht einer Betroffenen zu informieren 2. Bereits betroffene Personen zu ermutigen Ihre Beschwerden der Öffentlichkeit bekannt zu machen. 3. Menschen, die bereits typische Elektrosmogsymptome haben, diese aber nicht zuordnen können, anzuregen, die Ursache zu suchen. Sehr bedauerlich ist, dass der Beitrag von Herrn Dr. Gerd Oberfeld um ca. zwei Drittel gekürzt worden ist. Wesentliche Aussagen von kompetenter Seite wurden somit den Zusehern vorenthalten. | NOTES FROM SWEDEN NOTES FROM SWEDEN, from Anna Jonsson I called a couple of people in Sweden today and they were very excited to hear that things are finally shaking loose in Canada. Bosse and Sonja Fredberg, the main organizers of the Wavebreakers, are always generous with their information and ideas. With the support of a Green Party member they decided to start the Wavebreakers after one of Olle Johansson's informative lectures about 5 years ago. This was the time when the 3G system was being expanded to cover 98% of Sweden. The original 7-8 members wrote their policies and procedures and sent out their message to a select group of organizations and individuals they found in their local Yellow Pages. The Wavebreakers is a loose national organization with several chapters across the country. They have, an informative website, and have staged informative events, protests, and make sure that they are a part of any event where EMF is discussed. An interesting story from the Wavebreakers - When they were campaigning in one of the suburbs of Stockholm an old soldier approached them quite agitated. He thought they were promoting the 3G system and scolded them for being so uninformed, because he knew how dangerous radiation is from having been in the army for such a long time. Interestingly, Bosse Fredberg is also an ex-marine and now EMF injured. A lot of very skilled but sick people in Sweden. This is what the authorities cannot turn away from - their skilled workforce is sick with unspecified diagnoses. Naturally the psych diagnoses have been dominant in this country too, but now even the Swedish Radiation Authority is admitting that people can also get sick from non-ionizing radiation. A huge step forward for the grassroots organizations. However, the government rejected all 34 motions on EMF between 2003-2004. The Social Democrats still rule and make sure that the hi-tech investments in the country are safe. Ericsson is grateful. My point here is that the Swedes with ES do not think that we should kill the myth on Sweden as a fair country. Everything they have achieved they had to fight for. Sweden is a democratic state but at the same time quite authoritarian. I thought it would be a good idea to ask them to write something for SWEEP. | To the police authority in Stockholm County Report of criminal activity I hereby report the Swedish government for criminal activity and request that the police and prosecutors investigate whether the Swedish Prime Minister, any Ministers in the Swedish government or any leading representatives for these authorities are guilty of having committed a crime, by omitting to secure that the roll-out of the Swedish 3G-net has happened without a risk for people's health. On the following pages, background and justification for the reporting are listed. 27 September 2005, I report the Swedish government and its management to the police for criminal activity and request that the police must investigate whether Sweden's Prime Minister, any Minister in the Swedish government or any leading representatives for these authorities are guilty of committing criminal activity, by omitting to secure that the roll-out of the Swedish 3G-net has been executed without a risk for people's health. After, twice, having read the book "Spelet om 3G" by Mona Nilsson and Marica Lindblad, which in a convincing way, shows that authorities and government lie and mislead on the question about health risks with the 3G-roll-out, and presents results that indicate serious health risks by exposure from mobile telecommunication radiation, I asked the SSI the (Swedish Radiation Protection Authority). The book clearly states that there exists only one study of the impact of 3G and this study shows negative effects despite a very short exposure. In addition to this, the book presents research that suggests risk for cancer and for negative effect in the form of sleep problems, headache, nausea and cardiogenic problems. I therefore asked if SSI (Swedish Radiation Protection Authority) could to give me a document which would guarantee that the SSI (Swedish Radiation Protection Authority) would take full responsibility for the consequence of possible harm caused by the 3G-masts that exists in my environment. Lars Mjanes, the responsible person for the company activity at SSI (Swedish Radiation Protection Authority) replied: SSI can, of course not, give any guarantees of the kind you suggest. We do our risk assessments on the basis of the scientific knowledge that exists today. That knowledge can be changed in the future. SSI’s assessment is that base stations for mobile telecommunication do not cause any adverse health effects. I got, with this answer the proof for what is stated in the book: Swedish Radiation Protection Authority hides the fact that their claim, that there are risks, have no foundation, and at the same time they take no responsibility for the consequences. After contacting PTS I got the information that six 3G-basestations are placed within a radius of thousand meters from my family residence. The nearest being 200 meters away from the balcony, (in the center of the beam direction), where my, not yet, two year old daughter mostly takes her midday nap. I have reasons to suspect that the government and the authorities deliberately set aside the Environment Chapters pre-cautionary principle, perhaps because of fear for the strong economic interests. The pre-cautionary principle shall, without exceptions, be applied, even when there is a moderate suspicion about health risks. Moreover, the pre-cautionary principle includes a reversed burden of evidence: It is up to the industry to show that the radiation does not carry risks for people and environment - something they have got away with ignoring, despite many people's testimonies about health effects. Why won't the government and the authorities utilize all the knowledge, which among other things, a majority of the Swedish researchers who are active within this field possess, and who are highly critical of the current development? Why are the only "experts", allowed to do risks assessments, those with a guaranteed, non-critical and industrially loyal attitude? Why are the same lies repeated over and over, that there is no scientific evidence to proof that the radiation from the masts is harmful, at the same time they not disclose that very little research has been done into the round-the-clock exposure that we are all subjected to? I therefore, now demand that Swedish Radiation Protection Authority publicly disclose: - which published research results of round-the-clock exposure by radiation from 1). 3G - and 2). GSM-transmitters, are the basis for the Swedish Radiation Protection Authority's assessment, that radiation from base stations for mobile telecommunication installations do not cause health problems? - Today there do exist several studies that 1). show 3-4 times increased risk of cancer for people living in the vicinity of mobile masts, 2) risk of headache, sleep problems, nausea, heart problems etc. Many people also state general health problems. In the light of the reversed evidence burden in Swedish environment law, I requests that the Swedish Radiation Protection Authority discloses, which published research results proof the opposite ! 150 years ago in London, it was found, that the in the vicinity of certain wells there were many critical cases a diarrhoea with fatal outcome. These wells were closed down for consumption by the general public, and the infections disappeared. It was not until 30 years later Robert Koch discovered the Cholera bacteria, which had caused the diseases. The wells stayed closed for further 70 year, until the process was understood. Today we are in the observation phase, we see that the mobile radiation causes diseases, although the exact causal reason is not yet clear. Why don't we learn from history? Instead, of waiting for everything to be researched and explained in the smallest details. Meanwhile a health disaster can occur.  What prompted me to report this to the police is, that we will probably not get any further any other way. There has, apart from lying and misleading about the research situation and abandoning the pre-cautionary principle also been the downgrading of the whole of the democratic process, that everyone has a right to be heard.3G is forced forward without anyone having a say or the possibility for taking part in decisions making and follow up. The whole of the elected Swedish government contributes to this. | Radio-frequency radiation on the job, where she programmed cell phones for new customers, had caused the tumor By Nancy McVicar Health Writer October 2, 2005 Court victory is a first for cell-phone programmers Sharesa Price thought it was just another in a series of sinus infections. Her head and eyes hurt, and she was vomiting. But then Price had a seizure, and a brain scan found something far more troubling. "When I got home, the phone was ringing. It was the doctor's office, and they told me, `Brace yourself. Honey, you have a brain tumor.' I was standing by the refrigerator, and I just collapsed, saying, `no, no, no, it can't be a brain tumor,'" she recalled. After her diagnosis in 1999 and surgery to remove most of the tumor, Price started looking for answers. She became convinced that exposure to radio-frequency radiation on the job, where she programmed cell phones for new customers, had caused the tumor. In May, an administrative law judge who handles worker's compensation claims awarded her $30,000 to pay her medical bills and other expenses. Price may be the first person to convince a judge that her illness was caused by radio-frequency radiation. The decision is unlikely to have widespread repercussions for the cell phone industry, however, because the settlement was small. Price's customers at Advanced Communications Systems in northern California were doctors, firefighters, police departments and security departments for casinos, and she loved her work. She used a cell phone several hours each day, and the room in which she worked contained transmitters that emitted radio-frequency radiation, she said. Price said when she filed a workers comp claim, her boss fired her, eliminating her health insurance. Then she lost the case. The Native American single mother of two daughters was devastated. She turned to Tribal Health, a government health agency for Native Americans, to get anti-seizure medication. "If I hadn't been Indian, I would have died," she said. Her former boss, Dave Bohlen, said that he did not fire Price, that she quit based on her doctor's advice that she not return to work there. Bohlen said he dropped the insurance because she was no longer an employee. He called her worker's comp case "frivolous" and said there was no proof her tumor was caused by working in his small shop. "There's nothing harmful going on here," he said. After Price recovered from brain surgery, she went to the Internet and found researchers studying the biological effects of radio-frequency radiation, and got to know them. "I would call them up and say, You are absolutely dead on. If a rat could talk, this is what it would say. I'm the human rat. " Price couldn't find an attorney to take her case until she contacted Carl Hilliard, a semi-retired lawyer and president of the Wireless Consumers Alliance, a California-based consumer-advocacy group. Hilliard volunteered to represent her pro bono and re-filed her workers comp case. Hilliard said his group has represented cell phone users in issues involving poor service, billing problems and misrepresentations by cell phone service providers. "We're the ones who filed a case saying federal law does not pre-empt state law [on consumer issues] and won that case four years ago," Hilliard said. Hilliard brought in Dr. Nachman Brautbar, an occupational toxicologist and clinical professor of medicine at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, to review Price's medical records. Brautbar has been an expert witness in a number of high-profile cases, including the chromium poisonings from polluted drinking water portrayed in the movie Erin Brockovich. Brautbar reviewed Price's case and wrote a report supporting her claim that the tumor was caused by exposure to radio-frequency radiation. "It's not a money issue, suing the company, it's a health and safety issue," said Price, who speaks to school assemblies and classes about the need to use a headset when talking on a cell phone. "We need to explain to people that just like putting on condoms, you have to take this precautionary measure to make the product be as safe as it can be." | Sehr geehrter Herr Lafontaine Bundestagswahlen in Deutschland Anfragen an Parteien und Kandidaten Frage von R.G. 03.09.2005 Sehr geehrter Herr Lafontaine, wir möchten von Ihnen gerne wissen, wie wichtig für Sie das Thema "Gesundheitsgefahren durch elektromagnetische Felder ( Mobilfunk, DECT-Telefone usw.) ist. Laut unserem Grundgesetz hat jeder Bürger das Recht auf Leben und körperliche Unversehrtheit. Bei allen im Bundestag bisher vertretenen Parteien spielt die durch viele Studien nachgewiesene Gefährdung unserer Gesundheit durch Mobilfunk usw. überhaupt keine Rolle. Die Mobilfunkbetreiber können eine Ungefährlichkeit dieser Technik nicht nachweisen und benutzen im Einvernehmen mit den politisch Verantwortlichen uns Bürger als Versuchskaninchen. Alle wissenschaftlichen Hinweise auf eine Gefahr unserer Gesundheit werden aus rein wirtschaflichen Gründen verharmlost und bestritten. Inzwischen sind schon sehr viele Menschen durch die ständige Bestrahlung durch die Sendemasten erkrankt. Die PDS war vor der letzten Bundestagswahl ( 2002) noch die einzige Partei, die sich dieses Themas annahm. Ich gebe gern zu, dass ich auf dem Gebiet nicht der Experte bin. Nach Rückfragen habe ich Informationen erhalten, dass die Netzleistungen und somit die möglichen Gesundheitsbeeinträchtigungen viel geringer sein könnten, wenn nur unter freien Himmer mobil telefoniert werden könnte. Das Prinzip des "jederzeit an jedem Ort" erzeugt Belastungen, die vermeidbar wären. Die zukünftige Bundestagsfraktion der Linken wird sich diesem Thema wieder annehmen. Wir werden unfreiwillig einem Feldversuch ausgesetzt und wenden uns an Sie mit der Bitte, nachfolgende Informationen zur Kenntnis zu nehmen und Maßnahmen zur Sicherung unser aller Gesundheit einzuleiten. In der Stadt Bischofshofen wurden Mobilfunk-Sendeanlagen ohne vorherige Information an die Stadtgemeinde, ohne Rücksicht auf das Ortsbild in sensiblen Wohngebieten aufgestellt. Es wurde nur nach wirtschaftlichen und funktechnischen Kriterien vorgegangen. Nach zahlreichen Anrainerbeschwerden wurde im Auftrag der Stadt eine Messung der Mobilfunkimmissionen im Stadtgebiet durchgeführt. Die gemessenen Werte überstiegen unter anderem in einem dicht besiedelten Wohngebiet den von der Landessanitätsdirektion Salzburg im Jahr 2002 empfohlenen Richtwert für Innenräume von 1mikroW/m2 um das 1500 fache. Der anschließende Versuch mit den Mobilfunkbetreibern einen Konsens zu finden, d.h. eine Minimierung der Strahlung in den sensiblen Zonen zu erreichen und bei der zukünftigen Planung und Umsetzung ein Mitspracherecht zu haben, schlugen fehl. Im Gegensatz zu den Aussagen der Mobilfunk-Betreiber und deren Lobby-Organisationen gibt es eine Vielzahl von Untersuchungen, welche die Schädlichkeit der für den Mobilfunk verwendeten Mikrowellenstrahlung im Zellversuch, im Tierversuch und mittlerweile auch am Menschen zeigen. Tatsache ist: Die Mobilfunkbetreiber können die Unschädlichkeit der verwendeten Technologie NICHT beweisen - was von deren Seite auch zugegeben wird. Bedenken Sie, dass allein die MÖGLICHKEIT einer Schädigung Anlass genug sein muss, sofort alles in die Wege zu leiten, um dieses Gesundheitsrisiko zu verringern. Als Verantwortliche für unsere Gesundheit, sowie insbesondere die Gesundheit der Kinder und die Gesundheit der Umwelt in unserem Land sind Sie aufgefordert, durch rechtliche Rahmenbedingungen die Exposition gegenüber der Dauerbestrahlung durch Mobilfunksendeanlagen unter Beachtung des Vorsorgeprinzips zu reduzieren. Undemokratische Errichtungsmethoden ohne Mitgestaltungsmöglichkeiten der Gemeinden und der Betroffenen, sowie fehlende gesetzliche Verpflichtung zur Immissionsminimierung sind der Nährboden für Zorn, Misstrauen, Angst, Ablehnung und Protest durch die Bevölkerung und berechtigen uns zu dieser Petition. Es geht nicht um die Frage, "Mobilfunk - ja oder nein", sondern um Überlegungen und Rahmenbedingungen, die in erster Linie Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden der Menschen garantieren müssen. Der Preis für ständige Erreichbarkeit darf nicht Krankheit sein! Ziel dieser Petition ist eine Minimierung der Belastung durch Mobilfunktechnologie. Durch Zusammenarbeit der Betreiber mit den Gemeinden und der Bevölkerung, sowie bindende Vorschriften für den Aufbau und den Betrieb von Mobilfunk-Sendeeinrichtungen durch den Gesetzgeber, könnte dieses Ziel erreicht werden. Leitendes Prinzip dabei soll der Schutz der Bevölkerung vor möglichen negativen Auswirkungen der Mobilfunkstrahlung sein und sollte den wirtschaftlichen Begehrlichkeiten der Betreiber nicht den Vorrang geben. Forderungen 1. Bekanntgabe der Mobilfunkantennen-Standorte und deren vollständigen Anlagendaten, die für eine Immissionsberechnung erforderlich sind an die Stadtgemeinde Bischofshofen. > siehe Erläuterungen 2. Installation eines internetbasierten Informationssystems über alle Mobilfunkantennenstandorte, deren Emissionen und Immissionen für das Stadtgebiet von Bischofshofen > siehe Erläuterungen 3. Jährliche Überprüfung der Exposition mittels frequenzselektiver Messung an zu mindest einem Messpunkt je Antenne, die die höchste berechnete Immission aufweist. Der Prüfbericht ist von einem unabhängigen akkreditiertem Institut zu erstellen und der Stadtgemeinde Bischofshofen (Öffentlichkeit) vorzulegen. > siehe Erläuterungen 4. Auswahl zukünftiger Senderstandorte nach dem Prinzip der Expositionsminderung unter Mitgestaltung durch die Stadtgemeinde > siehe Erläuterungen. 5. Erstellung eines Immissionsminimierungskonzeptes für bestehende Anlagen für das Stadtgebiet von Bischofshofen > siehe Erläuterungen. (z.B. Sendestation Hochthronstrasse) 6. Zusammenarbeit der Betreiber zur gemeinsamen Nutzung von Sendestationen soweit dies der Immissionsminderung dient. > siehe Erläuterungen. 7. Zielwert der Stadtgemeinde Bischofshofen ist eine Immission von maximal 10 mikroW/m2 im Freien für die Summe GSM 900 und 1800 ausgehend von Mobilfunkbasisstationen. > siehe Erläuterungen 8. Einrichtung einer Informationsstelle, bei der sich betroffene Bürger und private Standortgeber beraten lassen können. > siehe Erläuterungen. 9. In Zukunft sollen nur Mobilfunk-Bestandsverträge mit Kündigungsrecht angeboten werden. > siehe Erläuterungen. 10. Klärung: Wer haftet für eventuell auftretende Folgeschäden an Mensch, Tier und Natur, welche nachweislich von Sendefeldern verursacht wurden. > siehe Erläuterungen. Stadt Bischofshofen, 5500 Bischofshofen, Rathausplatz 1 Bürgerinitiative zum "Schutz vor unnötiger Strahlung" Robert Gassner, 5500 Bischofshofen, Siedlungsgasse 21 Anmerkungen / Erläuterungen: Zu Punkt 1 der Petition: Nicht nur die geographische Lage der Sendestationen, sondern auch die Bekanntgabe der Sendeleistung ist erforderlich um eine genaue Berechnung der Gesamtbelastung in den sensiblen Zonen durchführen zu können. Die Berechnungen können vom Amt der Salzburger Landesregierung durchgeführt werden. Zu Punkt 2 der Petition: Einrichtung einer behördlich geführten öffentlichen Datenbank aller Mobilfunkstandorte mit Antennen- und Sendedaten samt historischem Verlauf. In diesem Kataster sollen die relevanten, aktuellen funktechnischen Daten wie beispielsweise die Hauptsenderichtung sowie die maximalen Strahlungsdichten im Freien (z.B. in 2 und 8 Meter Höhe) angeführt werden. Zu Punkt 3 der Petition: Um stark belastete Gebiete immer wieder zu überprüfen und um nachträgliche Änderungen zu verhindern. Die Grundeinstellungen sowie nachträgliche Änderungen der Senderichtungen und Erhöhungen der Sendeleistungen sollen grundsätzlich bewilligungspflichtig sein. Zu Punkt 4 der Petition: Bei der Auswahl von neuen Mobilfunk-Sendestandorten soll auf Basis von detaillierten Immissionsberechnungen der jeweils optimale Standort im Sinne der minimierten Strahlenbelastung (Vorsorgeprinzip) ermittelt werden. Dieses Vorsorgeprinzip ist für sensible Bereiche (Wohngebiete, Schulen, Kindergärten, Spielplätze etc.) verpflichtend vorzuschreiben. In diesen Entscheidungsprozess der Standortwahl soll die Stadt und die BürgerInnen eingebunden werden. (Eine offene Kommunikation und Diskussion zwischen dem Mobilfunkbetreiber, Kommunen und der Bevölkerung während der Planungsphasen für eine Antenne zu einem besseren Verständnis seitens der Bevölkerung und einer größeren Akzeptanz der neuen Anlage beitragen.) Zu Punkt 5 der Petition: Bei bestehenden Mobilfunk-Sendestandorten soll dasselbe Verfahren, wie unter Punkt 4 der Erläuterungen beschrieben, angewendet werden. Zu Punkt 6 der Petition: Es muss alles unternommen werden, die bestehende und zukünftige Infrastruktur bestmöglich im Sinne der Immissionsminderung zu nutzen. Zu Punkt 7 der Petition: Salzburger Vorsorgewert 10 mikroW/m2 außen und 1mikroW/m2 innen für GSM- Mobilfunksender. Der Summenwert der Leistungsflussdichte aller Mobilfunk-Systeme soll den empfohlenen Richtwert nicht überschreiten Der Summenwert ("die Leistungsflussdichte der hochfrequenten Gesamtexposition") darf 10 mikroW/m2 nicht überschreiten. Dieser Vorsorgewert bezieht sich auf den Außenraum und die maximal mögliche Sendeleistung der Sendeanlagen, deren Felder zur Summierung beitragen. Zu Punkt 8 der Petition: Sprechtage sollten in regelmäßigen Abständen in den Räumlichkeiten der Stadt abgehalten werden und sollten der Information und Bewusstseinsbildung betroffener Bürger und privater Standortgeber dienen. Zu Punkt 9 der Petition: Bisher wurden nur unkündbare Bestands-Verträge angeboten. Zu Punkt 10 der Petition: Mobilfunkanlagen stellen eine Gesundheitsgefährdung dar, das wird immer offensichtlicher. Mit jeder wissenschaftlichen Untersuchung, die die Gesundheitsgefährdung durch Mobilfunktechnologie belegt, steigt für die Betreiber das Prozessrisiko und spätestens dann stellt sich die Frage der Haftung.
